Zambia Green Pen Limited provides authentic and timely information to ensure communities make informed decisions. The idea is to provide appropriate and authentic information on farming practices which improve farmers’ livelihoods through adoption of farming practices which enhance production, productivity and food security as enshrined in the country’s Eighth National Development Plans (8NDP).
This provides the backdrop for our organisation (NGO) to raise awareness on climate change as part of contributing to the climate change agenda. The organisation will endeavour to train and equip journalists in climate change issues.
The NGO primarily focuses on providing information on climate change interventions through multiple platforms such as print, broadcast and website. The target will be smallholder farmers who may not have access to information they need in their value chains to engage in sustainable practices to boost the community.
